1 in 4 girls & 1 in 6 boys have been or will be sexually abused before their 18th birthday. It is estimated that over 60 million Americans have been the victim of some type of unwanted sexual contact. For the majority of abuse cases, victims will never come forward about the abuse. Sadly, any known statistics, such as these, are only available because of victims who have come forward and reported the abuse. We will never know just how many children and vulnerable adults suffer everyday in silence and fear.
The purpose of this website is to expose the reality of abuse that exists within the Catholic Church and to eliminate the burden of silence and fear. By banding together, we can help and support each other in our fight to eradicate sexual abuse of children and vulnerable adults inside and outside of the Catholic Church.
This site will also be utilized for supporting victims, including those who have yet to come forward, families of victims, and discussions on what we can do to make a difference.
If you have been the victim of clergy sexual abuse, or any childhood sexual abuse, please get the help you deserve. There are supportive, educated, and experienced people to help.
